Administration Team
Administration
Support Workers - to assist the office manager in the day to day running of the office.
Needed for half a day per week or more

Donations
Coordinator (material goods only, not money) - Responding to the needs of the Centre
and clients, seek donations of material goods; arrange for the donated
items to be passed on to clients; respond to offers of donations;
maintain donations and needs register.

- to maintain the contact list of speakers; maintain the speakers' kit;
respond to requests for speakers

Education Researcher - to maintain and develop the community education
resources and brochures
Events/Recreation Team
Events
Team Coordinator - organise volunteers and clients to help with specific
social events or fundraising activities; oversee the preparation and
running of these events; support the events team
Health
Network
Nurses - to help coordinate the health network, see asylum seekers
needing medical care and provide referrals to volunteer health
specialists.
Hospitality Team
Reconciliation
Project Worker - To facilitate relationships between Indigenous
people of Windsor and asylum seekers. To develop ways of acknowledging
Indigenous custodianship of the land on which the RCSC is located. To
explore possibilities for Indigenous Australians welcoming asylum
seekers to their country.

- to create a welcoming environment in the Centre; welcome and spend
time with asylum
seekers; help with meals at the Centre; ensure that the Centre is kept
clean and tidy

Volunteer/HR
Coordinator - ensure that recruiting, training and support for
volunteers is effective and continue to develop processes and
structures. Help to identify volunteer roles required within the Centre.

Supporters - to talk with volunteers on a regular basis for support and feedback;
to organise volunteer teambuilding and recreational activities

- recycle old PCs for asylum seekers to use.
- maintain the local area network and PCs at the RCSC.
Tutors
- to assist asylum seekers with basic computer use (especially
Internet).

Relations and Fundraising
Fundraisers
- Seek funding for the Centre's operations and for specific projects.
Fundraisers may seek funding through grants, donations, social
enterprises or other methods, depending upon their interests and skills.
Community
Education Fundraiser - to develop fundraising strategies and materials to
be incorporated into community education processes.
Writer
- to write articles & to research and edit monthly newsletters.
PR
& Marketing - to write press releases, campaigns and develop
marketing plans.
Scattered People Music Group

Stall
Workers
- people willing to assist with information/sales stalls at
markets/events for half a day per month.
Networkers
- Make contact with groups around the world that may be interested in
reselling the Scattered People CD as a fundraiser for their own group.
The Internet will be a major tool in this work.

Support Team
Employment
Resource Worker - to assist those asylum seekers who have work
permission to find work. Role may include assistance in writing resumes,
coaching on job interview techniques and networking with potential
employers.
Linkup
Coordinator - to coordinate the matching of volunteers and asylum
seekers. Linkup provides settlement support and friendship to asylum
seekers.
Network
Liaison - to collaborate with external asylum seeker support groups,
to support these groups and ensure that they are well networked with the
Centre.

Accommodation Facilitator - to maintain the register of available
accommodation and seek out new offers from our friends and supporters;
to maintain register of asylum seekers in need of accommodation and
connect them with appropriate offers.

as a Second Language (ESL) Team
ESL
Team Coordinators - to match volunteer English tutors with asylum
seekers and oversee the development of teaching resources.
